I've seen dozens of movies w/ Willem Dafoe and not one of his roles impacted me the way this one did. He is fabulous, the movie was fabulous, and I keep wanting to go deeper into the movie. I will look forward to seeing what roles he chooses next.

The fact that he didn't win an Oscar for THIS role says less about his immense talent and more about a pervasive unspoken bias in Hollywood that omits much of many American citizen's experiences. "Hillbilly Elegy" captures more of such uncomfortable reality.
