Thank you for pointing that out. Despite Ryan's craziness and obsessive behavior as the series went on, in some ways, I found him more likable. I can't say the same for Pam, and sometimes Jim. Towards the end of the series, I didn't like Pam at all, and Jim just left me feeling disappointed, though I thought he redeemed himself rather well. However, their marriage seemed so phony by the end of the series.

@@garrettbays6942I think it's because Ryan knows he's a bag of moldy mushrooms, he would never admit to being to blame but he knows what he is and it makes it easier to get used to and honestly accept. Pam and Jim are both kinda shitty people and spouses at times, but they're pushed off and think of themselves as really good people. However, I think most people in real life are like that and most marriages aren't perfect all the time. By the end of the series, I felt like Pam and Jim were actual people with flaws, ego, regret, and everything in between. Love The Office, except Season 1 lol

However, I just felt that the "happy" ending with Jim and Pam at the end of the series was so forced. I don't think they had to go to Texas and go ahead with Jim's stupid sports writing job. Once Dwight took over, they clearly seemed happier, compared to how Andy was running things.

@@garrettbays6942 I definitely agree that the ending of the series could've been better, and they added a bunch of random unnecessary bs to the mix in the last two seasons to add insult to injury when they could've had more fleshed out conversations about these more serious life changing topics. I don't think there's anything wrong with Jim wanting to leave, that's what he's always wanted to do but I didn't like how forced it felt for Pam to ultimately go along with it. Trust me, I don't like her character either, but a part of that is she has a consistent cycle of letting people pressure her into things SHE DOESN'T WANT and becomes bitter/mean because of it.
