Pondering and AI 10

Wanted to talk about American Idol this season, and also wanted to give you guys a challenge to take some time to just ponder over things for 15 to 20 minutes and then write down what's on your mind after that.

David, I don't know why you worry about you vlogs being long. We LOVE them long. We adore spacey, rambly you and can't ever get enough :) Glad you're enjoying Idol. I agree that the talent is a big improvement this year, but no one will ever compare with you. Speaking of stuff you loved as a kid, Les Miz was on PBS last night. 25th anniv. edition. So amazing. Hope you got to watch it. I thought of you the whole time I watched. Keep on shining bright and sweet. We love you :)

Awh, don't worry about the time so much. Just say what you wanna say without feeling rushed. Stefano is really good! I especially like Jacob; the voice he emanates is so amazing that it brings me to tears. I will definitely do your challenge! I actually try to every night before I go to bed even if it's been a super tiresome day and can only get a few minutes of meditation in. When I'm not, though, I write in my journal and pray. another cool vlog. I'm enjoying AI this season too! Stefano is one of my faves. He sang that song with such meaning and so much heart, (Like you.) I'll be sure and take on the task this week. Hi David! Thank you so much for this vlog. Please don't ever worry about the time on your vlogs~ whether you say everything you want to say in 2 min. or 10 min. it doesn't matter~ what matters is that you say what you want to say. :) Stefano's performance brought me to tears: I Need You Now was like a prayer on stage~ right there for everyone to hear~Like when you sing "Be Still My Soul" or POTC. Ok David, love the task of "pondering." You are so wise; this is something I didn't learn to do until much later in life! However, u must know, that limiting the time on ur vlogs is wrong! It makes u rush through ur thoughts and doesn't allow u to complete what u want to say! Understand that we are okay with ur rambling & would rather sit patiently while u try to make ur point, than to miss ur point altogether because you rushed yourself! THANK YOU for keeping in touch. I'm also into AI a little more than last yr. They definitely have talent. Still hope to see a guest performance from you on AI this year. I actually did take time to sit for awhile before i saw this video. I actually think that it is a key thing to be able to sit and think and forget the craziness of your life and I'm gonna do it more often. I found out I must do this after I pray. It's always awesome to hear from you David! Your challenge for the week reminded me of something I tweeted yesterday that you might appreciate. In C.S Lewis' book 'The Screwtape Letters', satan says he hates two things: Music and Silence. When you think about it, the right music can be so powerful to lift people to God, and often when a person gives themselves time to think, ponder and especially to then pray, they also often turn their mind and heart to God. :-) Take care. Watched Idol tonight. There were some really good performances tonight: Casey, Stefano, Scotty, Pia, James, Karen (kudos to her 4 singing a Selena song~ & I'll bet your mom sings that song beautifully :) ) etc. but DAVID, YOUR VOICE AND SINGING ARE WHAT I LOVE TO HEAR MOST!The others are good in their own way, BUT THEY ARE NOT YOU!
