So Stephen A. doesn't think a former POTUS should have classified documents - that are secured in a safe under the protection of the Secret Service, mind you - but it's fine for a former Senator and VP to have classified documents in a cardboard box in his garage. All other presidents worked with NARA after their presidency, not Trump. Trump had very top secret documents. Biden had low level documents. Biden's lawyers immediately contacted NARA when documents were found mixed in. Trump refused to turn them over for over a year and still to this day claims they are his. Not true. Those classified documents belong to the US. If Trump had immediately turned over the highly classified documents he would never have been charged. The two situations are not the same at all.

Remember in the weeks leading up to it, the media and the Democrats were adamantly just flat-out saying how he would use the National Guard to remain in power?Also, part of their plan. With our system of government, the only thing that would've happened if Pence wouldn't have certified the vote, is that it would've possibly delayed the inauguration and caused another round of recounts. But with today's "Harry Potter/ Star Wars/Video game generation", it's so easy to convince them by using optics, that the Galactic Empire is going to be kicking down their doors. I found it very eye opening as well how in the speech the day that the Jan 6 mess occurred, Trump specifically states they will peacefully protest but in almost all of the news reports they do not show that part of his speech but only show other parts of the speech to support this insurrection conspiracy and propaganda. Trump also put on his Twitter that they will be peaceful and it’s still up on his account from that day. Not to mention the very important fact that many people who were a part of the riot were never even identified or arrested to this day so we don’t even know who brought the home made explosives there or even who may have started causing violence. The FBI has already came out with a statement after looking into if Trump is involved in any way with starting the riot and have stated that no evidence has shown that. It’s shocking how people still believe that Trump orchestrated a violent riot. Like Byron said, if he really wanted to do that he would have told the national guard to stand down as he was still president at the time.

Jan 6th was an insurrection because the goal was to take power away from our Constitutional transfer of power and GIVE power to Trump by force. I have been watching young men a long time now, and you all demonstrate a willingness to listen! I also have listened to each one of you and recognize an absolute commitment to listening to each other's thoughts on any given subject. I grew up in an overwhelming white suburban community, joined the military after graduation from high school back in 1981!. I served in the Air Force with young men from all works of life from all over this country. I can tell you a major takeaway from that experience. We all, Black white man female, wanted the same future; we wanted a career we could be proud of, we talked about starting our own families, and we were all concerned with political leadership. One thing we did not feel a need to discuss at nauzim.... race! We did not spend time debating what makes us different. We talked about how we were parented. Black or white, we got spanked, and our parents demanded character. To that point, I think the black airmen I served with had parents who were more demanding than us white Airmen. If we de.anded more of our children and political leaders, America would turn the corner on the stupidity of the last 40+ years.

Ive watched all his statements and questioning in congressional hearings, and he is one heck of an explainer, yet stays calm, and doesn't waste words or argue. I say use Vavek for something he'd be good doing/running, and choose Byron for VP. I also want to see Ben Carson back to help. Oh, and by the way, I've never understood how they can call it an insurrection, when no guns were ever used or confiscated, in a country with 3 billion guns.
