Glen you have an amazing versicle voice wrapped in a lot of talent. Honestly, after 20+ years as a radio jock I've never really seen anyone that can move from performing a song by another artist in the same voice tones as the original artist perfectly and yet still have your own unique voice. I wish you all the success that a talent like yours deserves!

My mother and I saw Conway in concert over 20 times, he was just awesome and I mourned him like a close family member when he passed away. Just heard Glen Templeton for the first time yesterday. A friend sent me the Goodbye Time video because she knew how much I loved Conway Twitty. Time stood still as I listened to this guy sing, completely amazed. Not only the way he could make himself sound so much like Conway Twitty for us old fart fans but for him as an artist. He is so much more than a Conway Twitty vocal impersonator. This song, "Let Her Go" showcases his vocal range and talent. He has more talent in his little finger than stars like Luke Bryan and Hunter Hayes have in their whole talent suitcase.....tight jeans and white teeth included.

I think he sounded like Conway in the 'Goodbye Time' song, but not so much in this 'Let Her Go'. I too mourned Conway just like you say. I loved him. I saw him in concert a lot of times too. Even got to kiss him once. Have you heard the "Goodbye Darlin" song done by Kelly Lang? It is a goodbye to Conway from her to him. She knew him personally because her Dad was part of the band or set-up group. I love this song. Look for it on itunes. It is a great tribute to him. I love it.

I really loved Conway. There can never be another Conway. Having said that, yes, Glen you sound just like him, but don't overdo the Conway Twitty sing-a-like thing. You should keep the voice, but record your own songs. If not, you will be forever stuck doing Conway on Midwest Country. just teasing. Take advice from Hank Jr. He said that as long as he was mimicing his dad, he could not break out, but when he stopped being Hank Sr. and focused on his own talent, that's when the doors that could launch him to super stardom opened up. Keep the voice, even the style if it's selling, but make it you and your own songs. and when someone says you sound just like Conway, just say, thank you, darling.
