I have a lump in my throat and I don't know what to say. A couple of years ago my Dad died of stomach cancer. He also had Dementia. I was with him while he was on his death bed. I remember as a kid my Dad always playing the guitar and singing for us kids. He never had a good quality guitar. Always something cheap. A couple of years before he died I bought him a Fender Acoustic/Electric for his birthday. He couldn't play as well as he use to, but it didn't matter. He finally owned a great sounding guitar. I bought myself an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar to hang on my wall. I only knew a few chords, but every time I looked at them they reminded me of him and my childhood. Now, after all these years, I am finally learning to play them. I only wish I could have played with him while he was alive. This song brings back a lot of those memories. I have never actually put all of this into words. Thank you.

All my life I have loved Glen's music. And when they went public with his diagnosis I was mad! So mad because it just wasn't fair for this incredible person who played, sang and acted during my life was some day not gonna remember who he was or know the changes he had made within mine and so many others lives. I have been a fan of Glen Campbell for a very long time. Ashley does a great job with this song...tribute. I saw Glen perform at our county fair shortly before he stopped singing. His performance was fantastic and his talent on the guitar was impressive. During the show Mr. Campbell (with respect) got lost on stage, not sure where they were in the show. Ashley stepped in. I have always wanted to tell her what an excellent job she did to keep the show on course. At the same time we got to see a loving daughter talking to her Dad getting him back on track. She did it so well, not in a childish manner, not in a condescending manner. Love and professionalism is what we witnessed. Those two and the band moved forward with a fantastic show. Thank you Mr. Campbell. A wonderful job Ashley.
