Ok I know it's a bit late now, but for Demon of Hatred: - the fireproof umbrella is an amazing panic option for basically all of his dangerous attacks and also does a shitton of damage if you tank the jump slam. - if he runs away/past you, always immediately run towards him. That way he'll always miss his fireballs or other follow-up.

Your reward was the precious memories from this experience. Like dying to the same easily avoidable attack from True Monk (twice!) and losing 40 minutes of your life starting it all over again. Good times. One day, you'll look back at this gauntlet with fond memories. Sekiro is such a relaxing, Zen like game.

Here's the thing I'm scared about. I'm gonna watch this video, laugh at Myth's struggle, and then be like: "Okay, I should put my money where my mouth is and beat this thing". Then I'm gonna have to spend easily 5 hours a day continuously until I beat it since I not only have to beat all the gauntlets I also have to relearn all of my skills and all of the boss patterns. And I really can't afford to lose that time rn but that seems like what's about to happen so yeah. Fear.

There actually is one slight dialogue difference that I have noticed. After resurrecting in the mortal blade cutscene, if you have the Shura outfit on, the divine child will say "Your eye" instead of "Your eyes" because the Shura outfit covers up Sekiro's right eye

I recommend the purple umbrella tool. You can use it to parry, and immeadeatly counter. For example when the monk does his spinning attack, you block the last hit with the shield and counter with it. You can use it to counter the mortal blade and isshin's weird wind attack.

Demon of hatred Technique: Lure - sneak close to walls and force it stuck on the tree - Jump on walls make it kill itself. I know this is an old video, but I had to come here and say that what NG cycle your on doesn’t effect the gauntlets, they scale you and the boss through each level. I know NKC does work during them, not sure about demon bell, also having all the prayer beads is a big help for the max HP bar
