That was my impression also when I was watching their show that same year at Exit festival, maybe 10 days earlier than this show was held. Did not know what to expect since I am Radiohead fan and knew a few Thom Yorke and Atoms for peace songs.It blew my mind, I was like this the music from the future. They are so ahead of its time. Best concert I have witnessed to.

An anecdote of the song I have: Back when The Eraser came out I always pictured it being "Dont ask me, ask my man, ask Flea". I was like: There we have it, two of my favorite musicians have to be friends so that the universe makes even more sense. It was being meant like "Flea was not just in line with the thought process of Thom but even knew better" in regards to that conspiracy around Harrowdown Hill and the politician. I pictured Flea and Thom phoning a lot and sharing their views and one knows they are both politically very much involved. That is also why Thom sings "We think the same things at the same time" in regards of his conversations with Flea. At some moment I realized that it actually was officially in the lyrics "Ask the ministry". It was at that moment that I screwed those official lyrics because I was already emotionally way more beautifully attached to the line being "Ask my man, ask Flea".... Also I thought: "Hey, maybe Thom meant in two ways so that the lyrics make sense double-sided. Well, then "Atoms For Peace" got into existence. THAT made perfect sense by that time. Life plays sometimes jokes!
@aureaaetas35284 жыл бұрын
BTW: Thoms best siong in my opinion. Especially this version. I remember when it got launched into that soundhalo-app. WOW! That solo at the end is going sooooo strong.

But I'm coming home, I'm coming home To make it all right So dry your eyes We think the same things at the same time We just can't do anything about it. We think the same things at the same time We just can't do anything about it. So don't ask me ask the ministry So don't ask me ask the ministry We think the same things at the same time There are so many of us Oh you can't count We think the same things at the same time There are so many of us Oh you can't count Can you see me when I'm running Can you see me when I'm running Away from there Away from there I can't take the pressure No one cares if you live or die They just want me gone They want me gone But I'm coming home, I'm coming home To make it all right So dry your eyes We think the same things at the same time We just can't do anything about it We think the same things at the same time There are too many of us so you can't There are too many of us so you can't count!
