today (8/9/2022), Lubbock, Texas flooded too. it was higher then the sidewalk and some tires (of cars) were stuck. i thought we would get in a car accident but luckily we didn't, as im typing this there are sirens im hearing that are scaring me because of the flood, we've been seeing cops outside making sure everybody is safe. we are so lucky to have cops helping. i am so sorry this happened to you also

Thank goodness you all are ok and your stuff didn't get too ruined. I know it's been raining alot where I live in Indiana and it flooded bad in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago. You guys look like ya'll got some of that flooded rain, that's good ya'll had help this time. I was wondering where Rykel was early in the video lol 😊

Best thing you could do is install drains where is floods. Hate you'll have tear up near the pool to install pipes but you could have it cycle back so you can use it for water plants or grass. Etc. Water to save on water bill as well. I would also suggest those drains have pumps as well... Thank God for Great Friends! :)

I'm sure you have thought of this, portable pumps to pump out the water from those vulnerable areas? It's like try unplugging your computer or turn it off and on again. I think you and your family are AWESOME. I'm praying for y'all to get through this without a lot of damage. 🙏🙏

Ugh I'm so sorry. This reminds me of our last house, the first month we moved in water filled our window well and flooded our semifinished basement. Down side I was newly pregnant with our 2nd (no one else knew yet) and Mark was at work. The worst was 5 years later we thought we fixed it and hadn't had issues so we finished that part into our dream play/classroom and the night we finished around 10pm it was all hands on deck to try to save everything we had just moved in. Total bummer because the flooring was absolutely ruined but we decided to spend a little more and go with something just incase it was to happen again. So far the last 8 years there have been no issues and we are still friends with the current owners 😜 This does remind me that after every project we have something pretty big happen to cause further work...this worries me since we just finished replacing the stone on the front of our house 😳😳

Hi Guys! Our Monsoon also started, just a few days ago there was an air storm, & thunderstorm with tons of rain! Our chickens almost flew away, our area is prone to floods, so sorry it hear it, I like rain but not when they cause problems, there's a possibility that our area would flood, 1 more thing which we face which is bad, is snakes, just today I saw a snake, Black King Cobra, it was scary my mom says that in rain it does happen, snakes come, hope that never happens to you!
