It's up to whoever is running the event to make it SAFE for everyone there. If spectators kept crowding the starting line they should have Stopped running cars until they moved. I tried watching the live feed and had to turn it off from the stress knowing someone was about to get hurt. Glad to finally be able to relax and hear you tell us the story. My Dad had an 80 monte. Dark blue metal flake , t-tops , full chrome package. Just a beautiful car! what made it so cool is the 4-speed and 305. It was not quick or fast but it was special. We travelled to many dirt tracks around s/c, n/c , and ga, in it. This car brings those memories right back. Thanks Bill!!!

I run one of those new Vibrant 4 port catch cans on my 2JZ and their 3" resonator. They do make some amazing products. That catch can looks amazing and functions so well I'm very pleased I chose to go with them. Can't wait to see this Monte Carlo finished up and on the road again.

Alex and her dad are so awesome, Been a long time subscriber of SRC and them for a long time. The Monte is looking so gangster just like u were saying Bill. I am a gearhead and work on so many racecars of all types along with tuning but rarely get to race anymore, just always working and in this economy its usually 7 days a week. You guys are inspiration too all us gearheads/racers and hoping the S10 continues to kick ass, had one like it as my first vehicle but v6 and at least it was a manual, tossed a lt1 and t56 in it after a 3.4 swap and 350 like most do but i wanted boost so bad. Thanks for always having such awesome content along with the rest of ur fam.

Hey old man I also installed a CVF serpentine belt setup on my 421 sbc that I built for my 1969 Chevy K30!!! I absolutely love there setups except that the power steering pulley has the key way setup and the locking nut that screws on the front to hold the pulley on and the key way the nut doesn’t screw on far enough to hit the plastic lock in the nut!!! I was also missing a few bolts and spacers when I had received the complete setup and I called them and they sent the missing bolts write over with in a day or two witch was super helpful!!! I would definitely like to get the power steering setup fixed up though so that I don’t have to worry about the nut flying off when going Dow the road!! It does seem that if there isn’t a spacer put behind the pulley the pulley will hit the pump!! Hopefully everything goes better for you though!!!
