Thank you for another great video. I have been looking at a digi sync for a while to replace my mercury rod type vacuum gauges I used on my old 1150gs. Not the easiest things to use. But your vid has shown me the digi sync is much easier to use. Have a great christmas.

Love the video Old Mac. Not sure why these companies don’t contact you before making the final design. Right away you spot things like the hoses are not numbered. Great information Sir. Randy

I always find that once I've synced, tightening the locknut breaks the sync. Becomes trial and error to retain the sync once locknut is tightened. Meanwhile the bike pops up high temperature warnings on the dash 😔

Dear friend, there is an important step prior to the timing, the timing of the throttle body butterflies (Sorry, I don't know how to say it in English). If not, there is a possibility that it is caused by the desynchronization. This task is very simple and can be done with Motoscan. And of course what you have already mentioned as the correct valve clearance and spark plugs in perfect condition. I will never tire of thanking you for all your knowledge and willingness to teach, I appreciate it so much.

I know about that but there is a lot of confusion about that. And when you have the wrong version of software on your Beemer, you need to take it do the BMW dealer.... I have synced my throttle bodies this way and my Beemer runs super smooth. 😉

@TheOldMechanic I'm sure I have one of the videos saved about how to use vacuum gages, somewhere, 🤣 still haven't used my motoscan app yet and have a pile of stuff to put on my bike in my cupboard, my own fault to much drink and buying parts for my bike 🤣🤣

@TheOldMechanic correcto my friend, I knew you had made a video about using vacuum gages and I knew I had saved it. 👍👍👍👍

I have a digi sync and tried to do a sync on the BMW R1200GS 2009. Unfortunately it just isn't sensitive engough. The measured numbers do not change quickly enough to make the fine adjustements needed on my oilhead. My homemade fluidmanometer works a lot better then the digi sync. I've basically created one like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5C6dXlsnNF3a80 Also syncing should be done at at least 3000 or even 4000 rpm.
