This pattern is unique for each individual and therefore can serve as a means of identification. Pretty sure the words dirt, dust or dirty do not appear in that definition one single time. When I was a teen, me and a younger mate used to shoplift individual booster packs- nearly got caught precisely once, where we'd luckily ditched the intended packs for whatever reason before we got to the door and were confronted by a female manager and a male staff member IIRC. We had cards from a different set on us, and luckily the store we were in at that point didn't sell that set strangely enough, since this was our city's biggest and oldest toy shop and usually had everything anywhere else did and more! So naturally we flaunted those cards in her face to show they were from elsewhere and they had to let us go lol. The packets were an off-white, anyone know the set name? Anyway yeah, I was clearly not an ambitious lad because nicking the entire box didn't even cross my mind even though I probably would have tried it in one easier shop, and they weren't behind the counter back then, though that changed fairly soon after this era in my life, though recently I've seen Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards on shelves again in the toy aisle. Getting a box would be more than a dream come true for me back then, there are no adequate words to describe my would-be excitement! And to tell the truth, I considered teefin' a pack or two Pokemon cards when they were staring back at me from be shelves as I did my little patrols- I was a security officer for a year, and hated it tbh. I hate just standing around... Would genuinely prefer stacking shelves or some shiz lol. Anyway yup, I reckon I could have gotten away with pilfering some cards, but morals and slight paranoia stopped me. I'm no longer a guard, and not due to stealing lol. Raul Garcia You send the lighter packs to get graded and sell them for $200-$300 each. Might be scummy depending on how you look at it, but there are a lot of people who collect sealed packs and even prefer to know that there's no holo in it. It also helps recoup your losses instead of murdering the value by opening the rares.

No, I'm not a nasty person; finger prints get on paper with washed and dried hands as well, just scan them at the highest resolution you can or use an UV light to look for them. But don't mind me; I don't send them to be graded, not worth it for me; I only send coins to NGC which are more sensitive to fingerprints, so I've learn from experience. Of course you never seem to touch the foil part, so that is at least an obvious measure, but the card zones also get them because they are glossy. But as I said, don't mind me, and just let the PSA guys keep getting some extra bucks with your re-subs.

It's because people handling their cards with gloves to avoid skin oils and sweat, which are still possible with clean hands, are preserving their cards best and they get those cards as PSA 10. You do realize that PSA doesn't use gloves when they grade cards right? Oh of course you don't, because you're an ignorant fuck who thinks he knows things but is truly just another fucking moron. On their website, PSA explains the dangers of using gloves outweighs any perceived benefits and actually is more likely to damage cards rather than preserve them. Jesus Christ do some research before showing all of youtube how stupid you are. Also, 85% of my cards come back from PSA with a 10. Must be all those awesome gloves I use, right?

Keep up the awesome work then! I mean, you do have the money to waste, so why care. A $12 quality pair of gloves surely will fuck your cards somehow, and it is way more expensive than re-sending cards. Come on, the PSA guys don't care about TCGs, they only want to make money from those who want to be told they are the greatest dorks (and those dorks might in turn profit from those submissions if they sell their 10s because there is always another one who would pay a hefty sum for a PSA10, so it is a smart move because you are not alone). I am sure they falsgrade a lot of them, and even grade fake ones, they don't really care nor are experts in the matter (I am sure some of them might even be just like you; amateur collectors who love to tell others to fuck off with a 9) as they know those collectors don't really have the influence to make a case against them when the frauds are detected; so they just randomly give 10s to excellent-looking cards and other times they give them a 9 just to keep the pop in check. This entire post was opinionated and presented little to no factual evidence for why you are "right" in your assertion that oils from clean hands damage cards. All you did was bitch about PSA and how they don't care about TCGs, which again is an opinion and cannot be proved. On the other hand, I have proven with so many PSA 10s that touching cards with your hands DOESN'T damage them at all. And yes, I do complain when a card I graded gets a lower grade than I think it should get. That's called free fucking speech dude, guaranteed by the First Amendment to our Constitution. Pretty crazy how the only 1st ed boxes currently for sale at Ebay have an asking price of 13,000- 15,000$ I'm pretty sure these boxes currently go for around 6,000 (Which is still an insane amount of money.) But no were near the current asking prices.

Which new booster packs would you recommend? I still have quite a few old cards in used state, like the Yugi and Kaiba Structure Decks as well as a few old tins also in used state, so they would be of no value. I have absolutely no knowledge about those new GX packs, so which ones would have some decent value cards in them to start collecting again?

The thing that really sucks is you know all the other cards are going to be sold to unwitting people online for an incredibly high cost and they have 0 chance of getting a decent card. Its a shitty thing to do because he is ripping off kids and other collectors who are basically chasing the dream of obtaining some rare card for their collection and then hes not even empathetic to that, hes gloating in the knowledge that he is going to rip off a whole bunch of people.

No matter how clean your hands are, unless you have super dry hands, you can either way leave a finger print on... but either way it is a ridiculous thing to wear gloves just for that. Btw, second print Dark Magician is worth more, because I just learned that it's the one that you can see in the anime.
