Joy is a fruit of the Spirit-if you are talking about the joy of the Lord! It can’t come from man. It can’t come from community. Humans without the Lord are a valley of dead bones. The Spirit is the Lord and giver of life! Call on Him to give you joy friend!

I think they forgot the presence of the Holy Spirit! Joy is a fruit of the Spirit! Fruit!! Without the Spirit, it just a bunch of people operating like a bunch of atheists. Who cares? Nobody! Apart from me, Jesus said, you can do nothing! No thing. The Lord is offering to give you joy. Ask! That’s how you get it. Knock. Seek! And He will show up! For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorned its shame and sat down at the right hand of God the Father! Not our example so much as Our benefactor and gift giver! Shocking how long these men can talk and avoid the Triune God and His word! Repent and believe!
