Stannis has definitely got the North below the wall in the bag! For sure, now think of the frozen lake he's been telling his troops to ice-fish on. If the Manderlys turn on the Freys like I predict, it could get very nasty on that frozen lake for Bolton's exiles. The surviving victors anyways, unless Stannis notices the Manderly banner and offers them safe passage, so long as they BEND THE MOTHERFUCKING KNEE!!!!!! Stannis is definitely the thinker and the true tactician of the Baratheon family. Even Tywin Lannister, who is stone-cold blooded and ruthless, HE fears him and his capabilities. Fears him more than he ever feared Robert or Renly both and Renly had the Reach backing him for a time before he died. The Manderly forces will bend the knee and be sacrificed as lambs on the walls of Winterfell to draw Bolton's forces out for the powerplay of the century! Master tactician at work, just like Blackfish, who I also want to see more of in future books. STANNIS WON'T DIE UNTIL WINTER HAS TRULY SET IN!!! AFTER STANNIS THERE WILL BE NO IRON THRONE TO RULE! That is my prediction, anyways. Stannis as the Last King On The Iron Throne, kinda poetic and likely, saying as Stannis has such shit luck! LOL! Wow... I feel so bad for Theon. But then I remember the horrible things he did at Winterfell & I can't help but feel as though he's getting what's coming to him. Having said that however... how much torture should be "enough" to absolve someone of their sins?! The man has been broken practically beyond repair & have suffered psychologically & physically for years a this point. And now he faces a burning by Stan is! I just feel like if Theon is gonna die, let him die w/at least a little dignity & as painlessly as possible. Becuz he's ALREADY been tortured & suffered unbearable pain. A quick, honorable death is due at this point. No need for it to end in any other way than that. I almost cried when Asha asked Stannis to kill Theon quickly in front of a Weirwood tree: in Stark fashion. With honor. She doesn't want to lose her brother! But if he's going to die, let him die w/just a bit of grace. Fighting terror w/more terror, only leaves everyone feeling terrorized. I'm sick of Stannis & his fires! I hope he doesn't win the Iron Throne. Sorry Baratheon fans! LOL

The Bastard letter was sent by Ramsay. but it was written with bad info. Manderlay turns coat on the Freys and Stannis routes them. They then use Karstarks ravens to send disinformation to winterfel saying Stannis is dead and we have his magic sword. they also write that Stannis sent Theon and Fake Arya to the wall & Jon Snow before they got there. They do this because the Boltons will have no choice but to leave Winterfel to get back Arya. Without her they have no claim to Winterfel.

Ever since Bran tried to talk to Ned through the Weirwood tree things that can be warg'd (yes I used it as a verb) into have been saying more than usual. The tree with Theon in ADWD which had Bran's face and said "Theon Greyjoy" and "bran". Later in ADWD a crow says "Jon Snow" to Jon and now in this chapter we got some more talking crows saying "tree" and "theon". Is Bran trying to help Theon or torment him?

I find it interesting how Stannis mentions Viserys but still seems to be quite oblivious towards Daenerys. How is it that even now he doesn't seem to know that not only is Daenerys still alive but she has three grown dragons and has built up quite a formidable power base? He doesn't seem at all concerned about Dany's rise in power or the fact that the Golden Company are currently fighting to put another claimant on the Iron Throne and other sell-sword companies are perhaps also unavailable considering the situation in Slaver's Bay. Seriously either news reaches the North very slowly or Stannis is just not up to date with current events.

yes... listening to this again, this seems to me my most egregious error. It would be better if I was consistent at least, but I pronounce it THREE different ways, with an "I", "E", and "A" sound! Oh well, let's just pretend that in Westeros three pronunciations are acceptable, because it's a magical word. I will sum up how King Stannis story will go in A Wind of Winter. King Stannis will continue his campaign to become the solidify King of Westeros, by making a sacrifice of Theon to the Old God (unknowingly blessing himself with protection in the north, by the Old God), Then he will defeat Ramsey Bolton & the Freys soldiers with the help of the Manderly soliders, by using his already setup trap of the ice lake. Then King Stannis will Trojan Horse himself into Winterfell and defeat Roose Bolton, by faking his death to take back the North. After King Stannis realize his pink letter scheme didn't work to get Jon Snow to Winterfell to become lord, cause Jon Snow will still be out of order. Davos will bail King Stannis out with bringing him Rickon Stark and stamping King Stannis and Fat Manderly Alliance. King Stannis will then make Fat Manderly Warden of The North until Rickon Stark, who's Fat Manderly new ward come of age. Then King Stannis will buy Manderly fleet of ships he badly needs and Manderly badly need to sell. To head back to Storms End to get the Golden Company to betray Aegon and join him. After that King Stannis will take his campaign to the Reach and save them, by stopping Euron rampage on the south, before he give the Iron Island to Asha Greyjoy and his own man Ser Justin Massey. Next King Stannis will make quick work of the Freys in the River Land and basically united majority of the realm under him, before Tommen dies and all the realm have to bend the need to him. This is all before Solidify King Stannis of Westeros sacrifice his his daughter to R'hlor to awaken a stone Dragon, cause he can fight the long night and also before he marry Solidify Queen Daenerys of Essos to united the whole ASOIAF world against the long night. Basically The 3 Heads of The Dragon in Daenerys, Jon Snow and King Stannis will have to go up against collaboration of Blood Raven, Leaf Children of The Forest and the Night Queen to save the world from the long night. Daenerys will have Tyrion and Aegon ride her other 2 dragons and not the other 2 Heads of the Dragon, cause like I wrote King Stannis will awaken his own Stone Dragon and Jon Snow will have a flaming sword, then awaken a Ice Dragon. Which will then make Daenerys the Princess who was promise, Jon Snow who's Azor Ahai reborn and Stannis the 1 true King, the real 3 Heads of The Dragon and heroes within this story.

Dont see Theon as a turnclock, he was held captiv by the starks. He joined hes family and not a kinslayer, they where hes captors. I pity him so unfair, held captiv and rejected by hes family and people. Dont like what he did tho. But calling him turnclock and kinslayer annoyece me.

He's a turncloak because he backstabbed Robb after pledging his word to Robb. He's a kin slayer because he was the father of the miller's kids he killed and passed as the starks.

1: He betrayed Robb, who was his friend and as a brother to him. He was sent to bring the Greyjoy fleets in the war on the side of the North instead he sacked Winterfel. He is also very likely a kin-slayer. It's mentioned that he used to sleep with the miller's wife whose boys he killed in place of Bran and Rickon. It's possible that one of the children was his own bastard.
