Thank you sooo much… looks really good! I’m a hairdresser… had to self teach men’s haircuts but you have helped me very much! How would you do a little bit longer cut with the hair coming forward as on a 14 yr old?

I do a lot of cuts like that. I’ll try and get a video out

I love your videos, it helps me cut my son's hair. Although I notice your models don't move... unlike my 3.5 year old son 🤣🤣 I'm cutting a moving target!
@theoneminutebarber6 ай бұрын
My first boss always told me he’d know that I’d made it as a barber when I could cut kids hair well. If you can cut a moving target well then you definitely have skills.

@@theoneminutebarber then I'm on my way to my side job... or just giving my son a good hair cut. But seriously, I use your instructions, esp because I have to use scissors instead of clippers.

Hi Michael, my grandson has springy hair especially at the back of the crown. Please advise how to manage/cut. Many thanks!
@theoneminutebarber5 ай бұрын
For a springy crown it’s quite important that you leave enough weight for the crown to weigh its self down. So keep the crown a bit longer.

Which hair clippers are good for fading.? Wahl super taper, Wahl elite pro or Wahl magic Clipper.? I was leaning more towards the elite pro because it’s the cheapest
@theoneminutebarber7 ай бұрын
I haven’t tried the elite pro. But the super taper is a classic and you won’t go wrong with it. Personally I’m a Wahl senior guy. It doesn’t have a taper blade but does have the lever and works good. It’s my favourite clipper
@Kia-qo7nd7 ай бұрын
@@theoneminutebarber Ok I’ve been looking at the senior. I watched a video earlier and this barber said the seniors his favourite but he recommended the Wahl magic clipper for beginners learning how to blend/fade then move on to the senior when i get better, Should i do that.? Thanks
@theoneminutebarber7 ай бұрын
I would go for the seniors. They will last you years, and they are just far superior to the magic clip. I have the magic clips as well and hate them. They feel very cheap and the battery dies slowly which is painful when cutting.
@Kia-qo7nd7 ай бұрын
@@theoneminutebarber Ok mate I’ll get the seniors should i buy any additional blades.? Someone said they use a blade called the faper.? because it’s good for fading apparently

Hi Michael, I have been watching your many videos on scissors cut but somehow I cannot avoid scissors marks. How can I avoid scissors marks Thanks! 14:12
@theoneminutebarber5 ай бұрын
Hey Joyce the main reason for scissor marks are that your sections are too thick. So it is key to make your sections thin and look for your guidelines
@joycewee51105 ай бұрын
Many thanks Michael! Will do that!

I’ve been working as a hairdresser for a year now, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes I remove the line, sometimes I leave it as I should concentrate on haircuts, how to remove the lines???? I will be grateful for your help from the first video I saw how you clearly explain.
