I've played all Metal Gears, trust me Sniper Wolf is way better. She can go without moving a muscle for weeks on end, Quiet will eventually get tired.

paradisecityX0 We don't know, she is only seen twice during the whole of MGS, Quiet is seen everywhere. Besides, Wolf didn't need to have any parasites to make her skilled, it's pure skill, where as Quiet is fake. Quiet wouldn't last very long in Shadow Moses, where as Wolf could pretty much go anyway and not get effected by conditions.

Awesome!!! I played and finished this game in 1989, in my MSX2. I had a original japanese cartridge of MG and MG2. Today, I am 38 years old and I still play this game, but I spend 3 hours to finish it, at least. Your skills are incredible. Congratulations. Great video.

Oswaldo Gasser 3 hours is a speed run to me. I played it for the first time on my PS3 (MGS3 HD Digital version has MG and MG2) a few weeks ago and I ended up using a guide after I got to the bomb suit part.

Thank you! I tried to follow this to get all the chieves unlocked for the Master Collection version in the same day (I started at around 10pm) but when I saved and reloaded, it took me from Card 7 back to Card 3 and screwed it up for me anyways.

I just finished the game today, it would have been impossible without this video...old games were so hard lmao, there are a lot of things in this game almost impossible to find without guide ? And the resets after dying are horrible but feels good to finish the game, I will try to finish METAL GEAR 2 now.

After I come back up from the courtyard with the blast suit, guards are immediately alerted whenever I enter a screen with them on. Even even when not looking at me. Known glitch. Playing on subsistence ps2

The guards in this version only have a horizontal and vertical field of vision, so you could literally walk in step right next to a guard all day and he wouldn't care. =P

I’m practicing your run and doing quite well but there’s a few things like sensors and how to get past them are different? And different gaurd placements sometimes. Either way still very helpful. Always been a metal gear solid fan figured it was time to master metal gear and metal gear 2 as well! 30 is the new 16, right? Lol

If we talking about first metal gear then they're vision is 2x floor tiles in width but i didnt measure they're distance but i assume straight to the opposite wall like camera or laser

U can pass the tank from the max left line but u have to wait until it goes back up and most of it disappeared and only the mare front of it showed then pass it very quickly.. I used this method cuz I didn't know how to destroy it before until I learned that it can be destroyed by landmines.. But he's way is to get hit by the tank bullets and run fast through it amazing..

You need to put one by one in the two legs of the robot, the doctor you rescue earlier tells you in which leg (Left, or Right) to put the C4 in, the last leg is Right

You have to place the C4 on the left and right legs in a specific order. The scientist tells you the order.
