Very cool work. And congrats for the citation. I might have found the actual paper. Gonna give it a read later if I can. I was completely unaware about work in this field. Do results strongly depend on the way you choose the basis? P.S. You are making me regret doing a non-research dissertation for my master thesis (unless you consider research coding an application to visualize certain transforms in harmonic analysis, which I don't think it is).

there's no one answer. reading, scribbling ideas and examples, more reading, asking people, reading some more, writing a proof then realizing it's wrong, staring at a wall thinking, etc.

I'm no Ph.D. Mathematics student but I'd assume that if you're trying to get a Ph.D. in mathematics then you would be very interested in mathematics and not easily bored by it. It's hard to be bored by a topic if it challenges you and you're interested in it.

@@abhisheksoni9774 Look at the math involved in an electrical engineering course. If it didn't work, your iPad wouldn't exist. Math works well in the real world because there's so much evidence so. Where we are as a society is empirically sufficient to say that the foundations of math built from the addition of numbers 0-9 is "true".
