Maybe it’s the way I’m learning it though. I see people say, P=VI can be used to find the whole power in a circuit, while some people say it is used to find the power across a certain resistor. I can only guess they mean, that Power total= V total x I total = power across an entire circuit. But I really am not sure. I don’t know where the logic in this subject is.
