Is the color physical or chemical? We observe its change in chemical reaction but also without the chemical change.

Intensive. It doesn’t actually matter how much there is; the particles will diffuse in the air nonetheless. Just because we can’t smell it doesn’t mean that it’s not actually there, it’s just that our noses aren’t sensitive enough to detect it.
