Is there some problem at 9:45. I fail to understand how ; when x is strictly less than 3 , we can set it equal to a function that is greater than or equal to 3?

It's because if the function is continuous at x=3, the two functions would "meet" at that point. Does that make sense? So if you plugged in the number for the first point and the same number into the second, they should be the same, since that's where they meet. I feel like these channels should first explain what's going on cause I was wondering the same thing
