The Originals should have lasted a couple seasons longer. Others shows last much longer and can't hold a candle to it, but honestly you can't compare the two shows as much people want to. Different twists and turns, Vampire Diaries will always be the prequel to The Originals. For me The Originals was more about the factions and the original family. Vampire Diaries was more about the Salvatores, the Doppelgangers, Mystic Falls and its history, also exploring different stories.

@@VaDeRbLaDe agreed on the fact that the originals should went a bit longer. but i guess they're logistic problems to consider. if I'm not mistaken, phoebe has to leave the show so that's why hayley was killed. maybe they're other situations as well that contributes to the shortness of the series. julie plec always highlight the logistic problem during conferences and how it affects the story.

Honestly seeing this scene made me very sad mainly when Stefan was putting on the bandage. He never got to enjoy true happiness. First there was Katherine, got killed by his father, his ripper problem, got his heart broken by elena, was held in a coffin for months and many other problems. Ultimately found love in caroline, but of course had to be stabbed by Reyna cruz. Went on a run, and when after all this was over, he sacrificed himself the same day he got married. I mean, come on. I'm a diehard fan of Damon and I'm happy he was alive. But stefan deserved much more.

I believe Stefan's love To be an immense love. It's pure, organic, and timeless. He found happiness in those moments that may seem small and insignificant, brief, and fleeting to the masses but For him, it was the opposite. I do however wish that somehow Carolina became pregnant with his child by the same Magical forces that allowed her to carry the twins And maybe a one in 1 million chance that pregnancy can occur between an immortal and a formal immortal that has taken the cure.
