I agree the 'Darkness Spawn', they could have talked it out but Klaus wasn't strong enough to fight the hollow and to fight his step-fathers influence. The Hollow was really representing Mikael right there, that's the kind of crap he would say. For the fans saying Marcel could kill Klaus or the other way around. They are not going to kill each other. They love each other as family and sometimes family go up against each other. These guys are not humans, they have heightened strength and emotions. Marcel sees Klaus as the father that let him down. He feels that he has re-paid Klaus and sacrificed for him. Klaus was trying to be a better father to Marcel than Mikael was to him but in the end Klaus couldn't be a great father. You can see by the flashbacks that Elijah tried to stand in for Klaus and tutor and protect Marcel. Ultimately, Marcel and Klaus love each other and neither will end up killing each other.

It truly speaks volumes about klaus and his love for mikael which I believe was always real and never truly went away as evident on his face when he tells mikael he wants to know why he despised him before he stakes papa mikael and the way mikael reached for klaus in death as if he finally realized, finally saw a son that was his not by blood but by circumstance he was what mikael created and I think in that moment mikael saw all of his wrongs and errors regarding klaus and his other children and I think if he ever comes back maybe in legacies 😉 we'll get to see a whole new side of the destroyer cant wait.

Thing is y'all, werewolf transformation makes a Hybrid more powerful just as it makes a werewolf far stronger and even superior to pretty much any vampire. Hey I think that since lucien or marcel had the venom of 7 werewolf clan in him I think that their was away to kill him coz neither marcel nor lucien were born werewolf and since they did not have klaus clan venom one bite from klaus could kill him coz his body is not werewolf and he cannot withstand all that much power just like how witches power can be overrode and it will even make them weak or kill them....All in all that's my theory

Marcel is awesome!!! he is so level headed, it is almost scary. He was clearly holding back and yet he still won the fight when he pushed Klaus to the floor....before Elijah butted in. I can't wait till he goes full beast mode on some of these guys. Klaus had to be a bitch and sucker "punch" Marcel from behind. I felt the writers brought down Marcel's powers in service of the story. They clearly wanted Marcel to be captured for the next episode.
