Been watching this video for years. In middle school I used to bike and walk all over my town looking for trouble. Come to find it wasn’t too hard to find friends, sometimes people, humans, I’ll never see or experience the same things with again. This song would play in my ears at least 100 times a day. Something about the lyrics that talk about wasting time in your youth. The guitar that picks you up above the nostalgic melody. Makes you feel like you’re in a movie. That’s a feeling that doesn’t leave me. We also had a second street when I went to school, I hiked by it everyday. Never had a girl tell me to wait there for her after school but man I still somehow relate.

Seriously, this video deserves much, much more than just a measly count of 80,000+ views. I mean, North Ave. might as well be the best song (if it's nagging melody, the ingenious guitar hooks, that puissant Strokes vibe, and exuberant lyrics are of any indication) off their highly explosive Disgraceland album.
