When I first started playing lacrosse I watch all of ECD videos trying to grasp the whole sport in. Then i got interested in stringing my own head and I would always only watch your videos on tutorials and theories and that really helped me. Now as part of my junior year I am a captain of my high school team and I'm the guy everyone goes to, to string their head. I would like to give a huge thank you to you guys because without ECD I wouldn't be where I am now. Just hearing about Greg's stringing pattern and him giving us the building blocks made me think about where I would be without you guys and I just wanted to let you guys know I support ECD and appreciate you guys so much. Thank you East Coast Dyes!

Greg can you do a video on your idea of the perfect ncaa legal head and stringing job because most high schools and private schools are switching over to it and it would make since because stringing for a x spec head is a lot different then a high school spec head

Hey Greg you guys should make a tutorial on this stringing theory

Actually just curious, how would you insert a pattern like this into a head like the hammer? I tried this pattern in a clutch and It worked very well! But the hammer has less sidewall holes.

Hey Greg, i have a question for you. Lately its been reining in New York and when i play out side my mesh gets wet, then it bags out and the pocket becomes illegal. So my question is, How can i fix my pocket so that i don't have to adjust it to make it legal? Please reply, Have a nice day! :P

Elvis Reyes Make the switch to hero mesh!
@adrianbecerra59869 жыл бұрын
When you finish stringing the head do you cut the extra pice of mesh, it looks like you do and that is how you get like the tail to be pulled up like that, I have east coast mesh in my head and I have a lot more extra mesh than what it seems your heads have.?
@cameronbawolek89239 жыл бұрын
he had hero mezh
@tobybrewster3459 жыл бұрын
Adrian Becerra Yeah he cuts his mesh after he's done stringing and then melts it so it doesn't fray. He shows it in some of his live stringing videos.
@adrianbecerra59869 жыл бұрын
Toby Brewster does that ruin the mesh at all, trimming a piece of the extra off and then melting it so it doesnt fray?
@tobybrewster3459 жыл бұрын
It makes it shorter, but besides that? no. Just be very careful that you get a straight cut on the end of the diamond row you want to cut, and make sure you don't over or under melt the mesh afterwards.
@27terps9 жыл бұрын
I use the same setup as you in an optik except it is college legal.

Mojo Lacrosse you can never go wrong with 3 straight shooters unless its like a pretty high pocket
@tobybrewster3459 жыл бұрын
Mojo Lacrosse It's mostly preference, but 2 U's and a nylon is a good choice if it's legal in your league and if you want a stronger shot. I personally prefer one straight and a nylon because I can still get a lot of whip and power, but it's also more consistent and more versatile.

@muhamedfre89429 жыл бұрын
RP3 is a great head for those positions especially with a nice high pocket
@tobybrewster3459 жыл бұрын
Michael Farinacci The Optik is a solid head if your a shooter and/or a one handed player. It's better suited for an attackman. The Centrik is also a great choice if you want a stronger head better suited for a two handed player and/or a player that plays on the defensive side of the ball also. They're both great choices.
