The American war in Afghanistan is an example of a nation not following clauswitz concepts. In Afghanistan, America was in an endless war.

No, the afghan government found itself in an endless war. The US already made peace with the taliban and tried to involve them in the political process in afghanistan. But the afghan government was not capable of finding political solutions and it was too corrupt to be strong enough to fight for itself. So as soon as the US left them on their own, they collapsed.
