Some thoughts about how the labeling landscape and perception of separate conditions may change in the future. Sorry for again having a lot of verbal pauses and wanderings. Even with notes things were slow up in the brain space :-P

I've had the exact same thought processes. That's so interesting that you thought of that too.

It SEEMS like the logical conclusion at some point! Hoping I get to see that conclusion in my lifetime :-D

P.S. How have you been? I've been thinking about you!

@@MelodyLittle very good, but also pretty spent. My new job takes a lot of energy even though I only work once a week, so I've sort of been adjusting to that, but I also love being there so much. What about you?

@Snapple and Cats - Yay for a new job and something you love, though not so much yay about it taking so much out of you. I'm doing alright - it's ups and downs these days, which is better than four weeks ago, anyway. My midwife did actually manage to get me a neurologist appointment this year, end of November. Trying not to stress out about it too much after the stupidity of my last attempt at talking to a professional - it wouldn't surprise me if most of my symptoms have moved on by then though since that's about three months since they broke out badly again. Hopefully she takes video seriously. Looking forward to the possibility of not being on high-voltage during the holidays though, would be the first time in the last five years! P.S. Do you know if spinning is a TS thing? Like, spinning in circles for minutes upon minutes at a time (as long as twenty minutes or more)? Just something else that came into my mind awhile back as something I used to do when I was a kid that I now recognize was probably not normal child behavior :-P

@@MelodyLittle hmm, that could be a tic, but it could also be a sensory seeking behavior/stim that's common in both SPD and ADHD. I used to do the same thing, but it wasn't a tic for me. I had other things that weren't really as obvious at the time. I'm glad you'll get to see a neurologist though. I really hope they're understanding and really want to find the right diagnosis. Just remember that whatever they say, it doesn't invalidate your experience. Your symptoms won't change regardless of if you have a fancy paper saying they're real or not.

Very interesting, thank you. So thankful I’m living in today’s world, the stigma of it being repressed sexual desires or what have you would be unbearable.. that being said most people presume it is something like that, but at least I can put them right with the biological jargon. Congratulations on the wee one! (I’m Irish, here ‘wee’ means small not human excretion. I thought I should clarify 🤗)

Thank you! (and LOL! We do use both definitions here in the States - but I did recently see a discussion about the different definitions of "tossed" in different parts of the world, haha!)
