If a judge is giving a judgment on civil case / civil appeal , at that timr he is acting as diatrict judge While on the other hand , if the matter is criminal in nature/ criminal appeal, at the time of the judgement he is acting as session judge

Session judge or district judge are the same person but when he adjudicate a civil case he act as district judge and when he adjudicate a criminal case he act as a session judge love from Pakistan .
