Sort of a mistake: A Nuke and a nuclear power plant exploding are both considered nuclear explosions.

Maybe in game yes, but in real life a nuclear power plant explosion (lets take the famous example chernobyl No. 4) cannot be considered nuclear explosion because on what cause the explosion. A Nuke is achieved by forcing the nuclear material to undergo critical fission, causing a lot of energy release in form of heat and light in short period of time, which caused a second fussion (if the X-Treme ICBM is the average modern Thermonuclear warhead) bomb to be triggered.
