Not just a complete midfielder, total footballer. He is actually a guy you could place anywhere on the pitch. I remember Keane and Carragher remembering in awe about how Gerrard carried Liverpool on his shoulders against powerhouse Milan. First in midfield. Then when Milan goes 3 goals up, Gerrard is put into forward position, absolutely runs the game from there, then Liverpool have equalized he is put into defense at right back to see the game through. The guy was mad.

A player I grew up idolizing as a liverpool fan, and a player I used to hate, these guys are not friends but the respect during the interview is evident. Great Video!

One of the best players the prem has seen. The fact he has insane ability and performed at a high level while playing with average players is admirable

The best, not one of them. Tv dictates who’s the best but don’t call it the premiership and you’d maybe agree !

The best midfielders would be the ones that have led their clubs to at least one league title and multiple European cups, or the ones that scored and assisted more from midfield... there's loads of them.... Gerrard was bambi on ice
@aMentalPie2 жыл бұрын
@@timmartin2894 bambi on ice hahah only reason he didn’t win leagues was the team he was at. Could have gone to real or Chelsea and won loads
@macca16262 жыл бұрын
@@timmartin2894 bambi on ice😂 Your deluded you mate, he’s one of the most complete players in history let alone the prem, and he didn’t win much because he was playing in a depleted Liverpool team and he was loyal to his club and wasn’t in it for the money and success, still carried us to a UCL tho. Put respect of stevie g
