Waffles love for the win! There's plenty enough room in Hunter's heart for Flapjack *and* Waffles. Flapjack will always be his first palismen, Hunter will always have a special relationship with him because of that. But Waffles is presumably the palismen Hunter carved for himself *once he had-had time to properly grieve Flap* . His relationship with Waffles will be something new and different from the one he had with Flap because Waffles will be a unique palismen altogether. Hunter will be fine, he's not going to love Flap any less because of Waffles, nor will he neglect Waffles because he had Flap first.

Funny memes aside though: I'm happy they let the show end like this. Watching and Dreaming was the finale TOH deserved. Edit (just to clear this up): I was talking about the writing. Yes, it's sad it ended earlier then it should have, but the way it did was great!

No, wdym? The finale it deserved was a fully realized story with a complete story. They did what they could, but you can tell that they needed the extra chapters to cook the story better. It was fine, not what it deserved tho.

No because amphibia had all of leave each other as almost every ending but Dana didn’t do that. She actually made a happy ending and nobody got separated and it was all smooth. Owl house takes the cake easily tbh

Ah yes, everyone is crying while my face is completely dry. Not that I don't feel the same way, it's just that when I realised how the owl house could've ended with full episodes if a rushed ending like WAD is such an amazing close off despite being cut to about 6 episodes, all my emotions for the finale seemed dull to be celebrated It is truly one of the best shows, but there are still things left unexplained and not elaborated enough that could be solved by more time Mostly because the side characters are very charming in the series but lack character development afterwards Oh and, Steve my beloved❤

2:41 To be honest, The Amphibia finale was more emotional for me than TOH. Anne died after the battle so I wasn't sure that I'm seeing her in the end, her role as amphibia's hero was done. When Luz was poisoned by Phillip I was sure that everything is gonna be ok for her cause it was only the beginning of the battle. So I haven't any deep emotions during that finale.

2:40 I personally like Amphibia's ending better. Idk, there was so much left unanswered by the end of TOH (I for one really wanted to learn more about Caleb and Evelyn), but I chalk that up to the shorted 3rd season, not the people working on the show. This just shows how we needed a longer finale, because Amphibia got the full three seasons and the finale was perfect. I also was kinda hoping Hunter would be the one to defeat Belos... "I loaf you" made me sob though, I'll admit that.
