May the valkyries welcome you, and lead you through Odin's great battlefield. May they sing your name with love and fury, so that we might hear it rise from the depths of valhalla and know that you've taken your rightful place, at the table of kings. For a great man has fallen. A warrior, a chieftain, a father... A friend.

The thing I love about this song is it has loud parts and parts that make you jump in a way, but it still is calming and sends a extreme amount of emotion towards the listener, and the player

While the music heard in the movie captures the heartbreak Hiccup, Gobber, and Valka are feeling, your playing captures it even more. At 0:39 - 0:44 you can practically hear the devastation Hiccup is experiencing. I love how you started Stoick’s Ship softly.

Man, I was in primary school when I first learned this song and now I'm in university. I haven't looked at the sheet music for this in years, but I can always play from 3:20 onwards. It was either this song or "For the Dancing and the Dreaming" that was the first piano cover I ever learned. Thanks for getting me into piano covers, or else I don't think I would love piano as much as I do now :))
