This winter/ Christmas journal is stunning. You've outdone yourself. There's one thing. I believe that the deer is a stag. Does don't get horns. Every year at mating season the stags fight for the privladge of breeding with the does to pass in his genetics the stronger of the two wins this They use their horns in this fight. It's been known that occasionolly The stags get stuck together and neither one wins the right to breed. Some other male gains The herd. The winner gets the does to bread the next season's strongest offspring.

I just pulled up one of your videos by random to tell you what I did after watching you tear paper all the time with your ruler "and it looked so fun" I went and got my box of press and seal kitchen wrap, cut the lid off and used the serrated cutting edge to tear my paper, works better than a ruler. You know all these years we hate to throw that empty box of tin foil away because of that cutting edge. In the press and seal the edge is plastic not metal. it measures 12 1/2 " I am so happy with this I can't stand it, isn't it funny in life how something can make you so happy---love you and your art.

Beautiful journal, Pam! I think the pocket "thingy" 😊 near the end of the video at about 26:26 is from Patricia Viramontes - or at least she does one very similar. She does a lot of tutorials on how to make "Book Page Pockets" out of book pages. She has quite a few different ways to make them. I will try to find the exact video and will let you know if I do. But you can always search her channel for "Book Page Pockets". Also, Gayle Agostinelli mentions Patricia in her videos as well - and has shown how to make them.

So loaded and gorgeous! The question I have is when a journal is so pre-loaded, how would the owner add anything??
@ThePaperOutpost4 жыл бұрын
Great question! They have options, some folks like to "explore" preloaded journal and others like to remove the extras and place their own treasures in the book. Junk journals do not need to be preloaded at all. Its just a style I like to make. You can also make pretty journals that are naked inside, just full of lovely pages beckoning to be written on or "arted" on! :) Make them in a way that makes your heart sing! :)
