I love this. I make many of your projects. Your directions are clear and concise and I truly appreciate your sharing them with us. Thank you!!
@tonilea12124 жыл бұрын
As always you make it easy to follow your directions and the little box turns out great. I think two additional things that make your videos stand far above many others is that you show what it is supposed to look like at the beginning AND you give an example and/or an indication of what will fit in the box. That is super helpful and not everyone does that. I so appreciate all you do and share.

This us a neat box, but could you do a tutorial to make a box large enough to hold A2 cards and their affiliated envelopes? Would make a nicer box for gift giving sets.

But Julie, I am looking for a box template for a wedding gift that would hold a vintage cross, a box about 5" x 4" . Any way that you could guide me on that?

Hi Marina! I'm so sorry, but since I'm in the US I only work with imperial measurements. You should be able to convert measurements online from imperial to metric.

Hi Julie awesome box! I’m struggling with the box it’s not my first time in making boxes, but I don’t know why I’m struggling with yours. When I finish assembling it ends up measuring 3-1/4 therefore my lid does not close properly. I’ve printed your copy, I’ve scored right along with you and I do know my 1/16’s so yeah help!

Very nice pretty box, I like making boxes and love your videos and your always clear instructions, BUT the 1/16 measurements is not working, my scoreboard does not have a 1/16 measurement and not buying a new one, love the one I have. When I make lids I cut the lid cardstock 1/8" larger than the cardstock used for the bottom of box, score around for the long or short lid sides I need and it works perfectly fine; how can the beautiful lid you made be made by using a 1/8" measurements? Thank you for your help.
@aseal55114 жыл бұрын
Was able to adapt the 1/16 measurements to a 1/8 measurements and my "sample" box came out great. Thank you for your beautiful boxes.
@ThePaperPixie4 жыл бұрын
I was just popping back in here to share measurements with you, but looks like you may have figured them out! I haven't tried these yet, but here they are: Lovely Lipstick cardstock (box lid) - 5-5/8″ x 9-7/8″ - Score along both sides of the 5-5/8″ side at 1-1/8″ - Score along both sides of the 9-7/8″ side at 2-1/8″ and 3-1/4″ Best Dressed DSP - 2″ x 3-1/4″ (2 pcs - portrait)
@bethjeans37804 жыл бұрын
A Seal, as an alternative, measuring with a ruler works, making a little pencil mark and lining that mark up on a scoreboard (or trimmer with a scoring blade). I had to do that with one of the measurements since my trimmer with a scoring blade has a break around where the measurement would be (of course!). But glad the 1/8th worked! I love this box and would love a way to make it in various sizes - including a double-flip box for A2 cards.
