My clown trauma story, for anyone interested: My mom tried to have a clown birthday party for me TWICE as a kid and I spent both birthdays crying in my grandma's lap. The first time, I think she hired a clown and I was afraid of it. So, the second time, she had my cousin dress up as a clown. NOPE, still terrified. lol

You are not alone dear to be terrified I had a young student in my classroom one day and we should paint clowns beacuse I was a art teacher. Never seen somone so terrified she cried so much just seeing one clown on a picture, So i put her in another room with a friend and told her she can paint what she likes instead, And before she could go out i had to take away every picture. ❤❤

Wow so cool to know that The Ringlings resided in Baraboo, I’m also from Baraboo and listening to this is so cool. I was born and raised in Baraboo, bowled at the Bowling Alley when it was there. My dad was a member of the Elks club when it was there. Used to visit Santa around Christmas back in the Early 1980’s. So much history this house has the funniest thing is I never knew that it was Al Ringling who lived there. Love having the history being told. Wonderful video. I’m watching this episode on my TV!! Wow!! What a grand house and loving the history!! I have always had strange experiences since I was young. A few years ago, I stayed at the infamous Stanley Hotel. I took the paranormal tour at 2pm with a group of 25. At one part of the tour, we were on the second floor close to room 217. I asked what the floor above housed. I told him the kids are running upstairs because I heard them. They looked at me like I was Medusa. The tour guide said that floor was the kids play area. No one else heard anything. I have more incidences that occurred during that tour. Your shows are awesome!!! I have many stories that go on daily with me!!! Thank you🖤

There is a town in Montana called Ringling. I was only made aware of if when my husband went hunting there. Looked into its history and it is named after John Ringling. He had a ranch there and was involved with the railroad.

Great episode! What a beautiful house and beautiful antiques native to the family! This episode got me thinking....do you ever wonder why people are so drawn to antiques, abandoned houses, old buildings, and "haunted" houses? And the older it is, the more attracted to it we are? Energy is attracted to energy, right? So the more energy something has (something that has more residual energy) the more attractive it is to us. My husband did hardwood floors for one of the Ringling families. While working on the floor, he started to feel cold and watched. He had to acknowledge the ghost and mention he was only hear to do the floors. It left him alone, but it still was vigilant and watched until he finished the floor. Love that you did this place.

For some reason, the history in this episode has had me in tears. I don't know why specifically but I always loved the circus when I was a kid, never was traumatized at a circus while I was growing up but watching this episode and listening to the history and everything about the Ringling Brothers and the one Sister for some reason has had me in my feels ALL DAY!!! I’ve lived near Grand Rapids, Michigan for almost 30 years. It was always such a thrill to see the circus train come to town, and to see the animal walk from the train to the arena. It made me feel like a child again every single time.🐘🐘🐘🐘
