In Mattoon, Illinois, there's a local burger joint called The Burger King. Nothing to do with the franchise, but opened up around the same time the franchise did. Franchise tried to sue them, but they both ended up settling. The local joint stayed in business, but the franchise couldn't open a store in Mattoon.

There was one in my college town, morehead KY in the ‘90s It was incredible. Had amazing dessert too. When we were finished we would put as many chickens into our empty drink cup and put the lid on it and go home and eat chicken all night or the next day

My co-worker was a bodybuilder.. he could eat.. by the end of the week.. the owner came to our table & said you don't come here no more.. we laughed.. our job was done.. great price for a lot of food...

I'm from Humboldt, Sask, in Canada and we had a KFC buffet my whole life until a few years ago. It was a KFC/Pizza Hut restaurant, then they got rid of the Pizza Hut portion of the restaurant and did away with the buffet.(R.I.P.) The last one I know of is in Weyburn, Sask. They had Chicken, Mashed potatoes, fries, 3 or 4 kinds of pizza, salads, macaroni and potato salad, desserts, etc. It was heaven on earth, hell on the arteries.

How are these guys SO amazed at this. It's very common. Pretty sure most locations that do a buffet only do it for lunch, so no one stays ALL day. We did have a Popeye's that did a buffet, all the way to closing. The only location I ever saw with this, but it closed due to highway construction a few years ago.

These very much exist. There's one across the street from Oak Park Mall in Overland Park/Lenexa, KS. How it works: you pay for the buffet, they give you a plate, and - like any buffet - you get your food.

Im from Kentucky and I thought that KFC buffets were everywhere. The closest one to me always had one. You would just order the buffet at the counter and they would give you a styrofoam plate. Never really enjoyed KFC but their buffet was one of the best of any buffet-style restaurant.

The KFC at Gettysburg used to have a buffet. Don't know if they still do. Buses full of old people would pull in and wipe the place out. LOL. It is literally within 30 yards of the field and fences where Pickett made his bloody and failed charge in the face of Union cannons and infantry fire. Well, if you haven't try this. Open your biscuit. Take your thigh meat or breast meat either or. Rip off the meat and place it on your biscuit. Put you mash potatoes and gravy on your meat. An you have yourself the best chicken biscuit ever. Also, Tony isn't the only person that has taking the wedges and dip it in the mash potatoes and gravy.
