I wasn't in the room when my daughter was born due to complications, but I did finally get to be when my son was born, and I'll be honest, I had no idea he was even out yet until he started crying because I was so hyper-focused in consoling my fiancé and they didn't bring him over to us until he was already crying

Pat, I’m a very long time follower, huge fan, former college LB, one time “man’s man” and father to the world’s greatest daughter. As such, I can happily tell you that your life will never be the same!! Your priorities, focus and goals will (or at least should) change as your purpose, values & reason in life become crystal clear. Any dude who has had more “fun” in life than the average bear and has a daughter will quickly become an extreme “pappa bear” and do anything on earth for his little princess. I could tell plenty of stories, but I never could have imagined how many times I’d be fully prepared (and almost excited) to pulverize some random middle school punk, embarrass his father and spank his mother in front and his entire family!! Thank God my wife knows how to reign in my occasional stupidity! Welcome to the club, bud. Your life will never be the same and you will NEVER love anything on earth more than your daughter. Pat experienced exactly what I went through when I had my son lol. He was a few weeks early and my wife woke me up at 3 am saying her water broke . Best day of my life is my son being born. Congrats to Pat and his wife. WHUUUT!
