the women in the wnba and at high levels of college sports - are morons. the vast majority (not all). they literally are too dumb to realize that caitlin is a product. and that product is something that people want and have gravitated too. when she does well, the chances go up astronomically that they all will do well and benefit (more so financially with more opportunities). instead you have the swoops of the world and others who just do nothing but take the opportunity to hate on this girl, try to downplay her accomplishments, and she's the thing that is driving fans to watch the womens sports. it just amazes me. kudo's to Plum though for being smart enough to realize that a rising tide floats all boats.

I went to two women's march madness games this year. Tickets were super cheap, 41 dollars for 2 games. I only went because a friend of mine bought the tickets. I saw USC vs. Baylor and UConn vs. Duke. I wanted to like it but it was just so boring. There were times where the teams must have missed 5 to 6 shots in a row. We stayed for the whole first game and left at half time in the second game. It's just not exciting.

If some teams want to recruit women, then that should be their call, but I wouldn't want to see any sort of mandatory quota's, because then you're looking at picking teams based on metrics other than their basketball ability.
