Hockey is a team sport filled with actual teammates who care more about the teams success than their own individual performance. Just FYI, the opposing goalie didn't fight the Boston goalie because if a goalie crosses the red line they receive an extra penalty in addition to the fighting penalty. It's a big no-no in hockey and is really only broken on very rare occasions when its either a line brawl or a bench brawl, to even out the numbers in the fight. Swayman might be tough, but's not like the Habs tender was afraid of him. That said, yet again, thanks for promoting hockey! Great seg!

When I worked for a restaurant my area manager was from Minnesota played hockey his whole life and got hit while playing and needed hip surgery and now walks with a limp and has friends that played in the NHL...asked him if he could take it back would he?...his response..."hell no". My town puts up community rinks during the winter and we would have pick up games. Go to the rink and throw your stick in the middle of pile and have two captains just randomly draw sticks and that was your team. I'd was 14 playing against full grown men. As a native Philadelphian proud to see the Flyers represent. It's Philly...we won't hesitate to fight.

I grew up disliking Crosby. Mostly because of my hatred for Pittsburgh sports and his “golden goal” to beat USA in the Olympics. He also had a hotshot, soft, pretty-boy etc. reputation. As a rookie/young player he had a massive target on his back around the league and was on the receiving end of a lot of dirty hits because of it. Now after the career he’s had, I can’t help but respect him. He also seems like such a genuinely good dude.
