It seems that the SDRUM is back! Digitech lists it on their web page again!!! Maybe there is hope for a firmware upgrade. Here's my wish list: I would like to be able to set an explicit tempo in BPM and to get rid of the annoying random kick and snare hits, at least in simple mode. My third wish would be to be able to adjust the volume of the snare and kick, independent of the rest of the components. Jamsync/clock IN wouldn't be bad either.

Sorry, just saw these replies. I dont use the SDRUM through an amp into a P.A. I ran in into my mixing console in my studio, from there, an EQ, into my Focusrite interface. I dont perform with any drum machine, only live drums for me if any, sometimes I do solo guitar shows. I record demos, and occasionally a track with a drum machine. I dont care for the SDRUM though. Im a rock and blues guy, there doesn't seem to be anything usable in there for me. My Trio is better, but neither compare to my BeatBuddy. For me it's got the best sounds. I just bought the Premium Library as well, and it's got everything Id ever need and more. Im not knocking anything, or unit. We all have different needs and tastes. The pedals here are like comparing oranges to apples. Best of luck to you all.

@@jaredgreiff4674 Ok, so what you need to do here is do a factory reset. 1. Unplug the power adapter from the SDRUM. 2. Press and hold the KICK pad, SNARE pad, and ALT (GROOVE/KIT) button, and then plug in the power adapter. 3. Wait for the LEDs to begin circling the HATS/RIDES encoder, then release the buttons. 4. When the LEDs surrounding the HATS/RIDES encoder begin flashing amber, press the HATS/RIDES encoder and wait for the factory reset to complete. The HATS/RIDES LEDs will cycle red, then amber, then green during the reset, and once complete, the SDRUM will return to normal operation. NOTE: If the HATS/RIDES encoder is not pressed, the operation will time out and the factory reset will be cancelled. What's the order in the effects chain for the Sdrum if you only a guitar amp? Would the drums get a delay or distorted sound if you have those pedals on
@ThePedalGuy5 жыл бұрын
halo1589 thanks for your question. It’s a pretty lengthy answer but here’s the exact text from the owners manual from digitech. This is when you use the amp out only on the SDRUM A mono mix of the guitar and drum signal will be sent to the AMP OUT jack. Complementary equalization will be applied to the drum signal to make it sound better when played through a guitar amp. NOTE: When using a guitar amp to play the drums from the SDRUM, set the amp to run as cleanly as possible in order to avoid distorting the drums. The drums are pre-EQ'd to sound best through a clean amp with "flat" EQ settings. If using guitar effects and/or a looper, they should be placed before the SDRUM when using only the AMP OUT jack.

Quick advice: Just save up and buy a beatbuddy. That product set the standard, it has 10 different versions for every drum sample. So every snare or kick gets a ranomized sample which makes it sound like a real drummer. Products like SDRUM and Boss RC-10R fail to live up to the Drumcomputer in pedal form standard set in 2014 by Singular Sound, which is a damn shame. Yes it's cheaper, which justifies the lower quality but Digitech offers no alternative that is of higher quality. So is this the best you can do Digitech?
