America has the unique election process in the Electoral College. It's based on "points" depending upon population of each individual state. In several recent elections the winner has won most of the U.S. states but not the popular vote. That was done by Founding Fathers for a reason, otherwise only a few very large states would decide an election. People in other countries have difficulty understanding that and considering that.

It’s a flawed theory. The State boundaries shouldn’t make a difference if the votes come from 5 states or 1 state it doesn’t matter, the popular vote is still the will of the MAJORITY of the citizens of our country and you can bribe electors as we have seen in the last election. Electoral College is a huge opening for fraud & bribery, not so with the popular vote.

This is because they have an Indirect Electoral System that has being superated by many other countries with Direct Electoral Systems. It is injustice, not fair enough, means that the candidate that has more votes may not win, and that every vote does not value the same. That could bring conflict and violence in the future. Sorry Penny, but as an American freaking out over the election, I had to fast forward to near the end of the video. 😂 From what I remember from the 2020 presidential election, it's impossible to call the election the day of the election unless a candidate wins by a huge landslide. So the idea of no winner on November 5 is completely plausible.

As a dedicated political science researcher, I tend to lean toward Kamala more, primarily because of the demographics and the overall societal mood. I believe I see a slight win for her in most projections, despite the significant challenge of having to defend against Trump's accusations of a stolen election and the ongoing political turmoil. This situation will definitely stir the unconscious psyche of American society, which could change the country forever, especially given the intense polarization.
