This was one of the best hits I have ever seen. I have been around a little bit. But the game was always going to have great hits when dirty waters was playing. No QB was safe when he was on the field and it didn't help when Buddy Ryan put bounties on people's heads. Dirty waters was always willing to win some extra money. Lol Brian Dawkins was good but you guys probably don't remember dirty waters. The first #20. That defense was unreal we could never see a defense like that again because of the salary cap. Dirty waters did not care about himself when it came to the game. He would hurt himself and go right back in and do it again and again. And honestly I'm glad they don't allow guys to do it anymore because it led to waters committing suicide. All the concussions. RIP waters
@AngeloBarovierSD15 күн бұрын
@@catmando1968stevieHeyo, Buddy Ryan era fan, here. Andre Waters was a hard-hitter for sure but he was reckless and injurious. I’m sorry for what happened to him (CTE-caused self-demise) but he was not a clean hitter. Dawkins (aside from the suplex) was a much cleaner hitter without losing the impact. As much I adore the Minister of Defence’s D-squad (including Waters) - they were my first squad as a new Eagles fan - I gotta give the crown to Dawkins as my favourite Eagle ever. Winning or losing, Brian Dawkins was running at a 100% at all times.
