Thank you! Thats just an effect in my video editing software (Premiere Pro) I do think Lightroom has the option to export images with a white border, but I'm not sure where it is (I dont export images with white borders!)

Christian, great thanks to you for your illustration of the soft and pastel style in Lightroom Classic! Your inspiration is very appreciated and very helpful to me. I have a question, here you have applied contrast adjustments three times, twice in clarity, rather than making adjustments of exposure and highlights, shadows and whites, are these adjustments are just for achieving the pastel style?

Hey, thank you for the comment! I used clarity to make certain areas pop a little more (clarity will affect the mid-tones contrast). While clarity does change the colors slighty (mostly make them less saturated) I did not use clarity with color grading of the pastel tones in mind :-)

I enjoy your videos keep them coming but I always wonder why so aggressive settings when you shoot? ISO3200?! for this shot this looks like you could of got away with iso100

Thanks for the comment! Usually, ISO 3200 is not an issue noise-wise, so I like using it to be able to use short shutter speeds, in this case to "freeze" the water. Other times I jsut dial in random settings to get the shot quickly :D

How you add profiles on LR?

You can click on browse in the Profiles drop down menu to get to the profiles panel and there should be a button or icon when clicking on it you cann add profiles to LR

Out of curiousity, why did you take the image at 3,200ISO and f14 at 1/20 sec? Surely you could have achieved a higher quality image using 100ISO, f4 and 1/8 sec. Sharpness, contrast, colour saturation and noise/grain would all have been better. The nearest object is well into infinity so aperture shouldn't have needed to be in the diffraction range and the water doesn't have perfect reflections so speed needn't have been so high.

Usually there arent any visible downsides shooting a bright scene like this at iso 3200 (at least I cant see any), I wanted to use a shorter shutter speed for the water in the foreground, plus I think I was using an ND filter which I didnt want to remove because I wanted to be fast (maybe that part was a bit lazy of me haha)

@@ThePhlogPhotography you don't see any difference between iso 3,200 and iso 100???? I guess you can't see the difference in diffraction between f14 and f5.6 either then.
