I took piano for years as a kid and was quite decent. Now trying to get back into it without learning to reread music and it just seems impossible. Even the "simple" songs require an unbelievable amount of practice. Makes you appreciate really good musicians.

The only thing is that can it be that at minute 4:00 you play a D on C2 but then at minute 12:16 you play a D but on C1? Thank you so much for everything!! Hola. Its such a beautiful, classic song, strange too that it was written by the Beatles (I think mainly Paul). I mean a rock group that just a year or so earlier were writing and singing fairly light, less mature material.

You have to be kidding right? It's definitely in F, if you ever saw paul playing he plays in the G chord but his guitar is tuned one step down !

umm So what?, the song is in D minor, it is basic theory, have you ever seen a C sharp in the scale of F major? I dont think so, that is because mccartney is using the d minor melodic scale when he goes up, and the natural when he goes down which is exactly what you are supposed to do if you are writing in D minor.

@@DevylProductions Agreed. I spent my life with keyboards playing chord left hand and melody so my fingers don't work as well playing piano style but this is pretty easy. Took me a couple of hours to get part 1down and then I just spent about 45 minutes on part 2. In part 2 I did the left and then jumped straight to the 3rd section. Seems a waste of time to learn the right hand single notes only to have to relearn fingering for the chords.
