Incorrect, polls have centre left gaining ground and Luxon continuing to lose support
@brucegibbins3792Күн бұрын
What are the "Traditional New Zealand Values" that have been lost, but by not engaging with the MSM will be reinstated. The Platform is not mainstream media, but engages in centre right race gaslighting, of New Zealand Maori - the indigenous people of our country. Maori have traditionally voted Labor, but Labour through preelection smoke screen betrayed their votor base by making trades union membership voluntary, destroying long held employment agreements turning our country into the Great Depression revisited. Many changes all came at once and New Zealanders were allowed very little breathing space between these. Over the sea in Australia their federal government seeing the changes in New Zealand thought a much less punitive series of changes, would bring more efficiency to their own labor market. Australian Trades Unions referred to this as the New Zealand disease so over there the changes were more benign. Now to NZ of today and the faux outrage for effect of a onetime National government bench warmer has been recruited to present his employers political views. They may be the views of Mr Laws too, but not nesseserely so. When the Kings Shilling is taken, it's an ownership agreement. The often mentioned Taxpayers Money being wasted is a ploy to raise discontent and resentment towards the government. What is a waste of Taxpayers money to one person is a vital funding source for another. Laws and Plunket are objects of harmless fun really, much like a set petulant pouty twins from a different Mum and Dad. Yet, in my own view there is room for everyone no matter race, creed, political preferences, how we self identify, like or dislike or love. Most of what other people do that not illegal is just how they choose to be. Why purposly allow ourselves to be hurt filled and resentful from what the media from all directions including boutique broadcasters like the Platform with their self elevated beleif of holding a franchise on the truth, might have to say through its talking head gurmudgens as they test listeners coping mechanisms ability to withstand the fatuous nonsense they want to pass off as the truth.

TPM just want to destroy NZ, they have even openly stated this in parliament. Labour still isn’t reading the room, hence still losing voters, people don’t want them to be pro TPM. Had Labour tried to get on with NZFirst they may have stayed in, I’m not saying it’s a good move, but in power vs out of power, sometimes one has to pair up with the competitor. By dismissing this as an option they lost a lot of voters. Not because people want NZFirst but because they wanted more balance, less woke crap. Why NZ first because many who usually vote Labour did move to NZFirst. The greens have lost the plot and TPM have lost the plot, both just too radical to be liked. I hate Luxon,but wouldn’t be surprised if he gets another term, Hipkins still isn’t reading the room, even though everyone is shouting the answers to him.

@ they openly said it, they want a separate government, they hate all white people (still majority of people in NZ), unless they are getting money they care about nothing, even their response to Moriori was odd, rather than saying Maori mistreated them, they are saying they need to get over it, it’s just a terrible party, who I might add has spent more money than any other party per head, and has spent the least time in parliament. A better question might be what have they actually achieved. Ordinary people who are basically politically neutral by nature may have swung between Labour or National in past years depending on perceived policies and leadership. However the far left is unlikely to attract them despite some sympathy for the founding principles of the Green party. This is primarily due to Te Pati Maori aided by the Greens and to a lesser extent Labour seeking to separate NZ by race with policies that are not only radical but akin to apartheid in reverse. The "mainstream" media have become less relevant to many as their news coverage and opinion bias works against them to the point where they are largely ignored.

@patneho6684 - I hope your enjoying all the news of business closing down. Tokoroa mill, WPI. This is what NZ's future is because business has had enough as well. Thats come directly from TPM, Greens and Labour decisions.
@nevillehill5210Күн бұрын
Why? , is that because you cannot see a Labour lead government due to their only being able to coalesce with G & TPM , which as Laws explains would be hard for the majority of Kiwis to accept? Just a friendly enquiry

My dad watches TVNZ still but he hates the extreme left views contanstly pushed. But he still watches it out of habit. What's going to happen to TVNZ and RNZ when many of this audience are gone?

Well said. I watched the interview with joe rogan and Mike Benz the other day. It made all this madness make sense. Worth a watch. It even mentioned the accredited media.👍

Hear what you’re saying, Michael, but the New Zealanders are not full and we’re not full by these poles either. Nobody in their right mind would vote for the Maori party if anyone thinks that they would be able to lead this country, I don’t know how anyone could even think for that for a moment

So, I 'liked" it, but was disappointed to find YT don't provide an "I fucken liked that!" button. But then I realized that if you comment at all, that's the button!

Great overview of the current political climate and I would think logically pretty accurate . Mainstream media keep up.your good work 😂 promote radicals and brand yourselves as radical in the process.

I'm off to Japan!! I'll sorely miss our New Zealand of old but the ship has sailed. It has a ginormous gash in it's hull and is sinking fast for the middle only to be salvaged by the privileged billionaires New Zealand so badly needs to bail out the sinking ship ⚓

I think of it as the Rongotai Effect. About 30 years solidly Labour, crunch time comes last year, too many centre-left public servants finding the Nats a bridge too far but not wanting to reward Labour. So vote Green. Nice going, sneering, spandex & chardie commissars.

Many in the Labour Party support Te Pati Maori's agenda, especially the Maori caucus, as evidenced by He Puapua by stealth. The 'radicals' (as the mainstream media called them back in the day) have gradually wormed their way into our parliament and public institutions over the last 40 years. That, coupled with Identity politics and Critical theories coming from the US Universities during the Obama era has helped transform the NZ Labour Party into an almost unrecognisable approximation of what it was during Helen Clark's and prior governments.

Mike Laws has said something I have thought for a long time. Labour is going nowhere unless they decouple from Te Pati Maori. Does he understand this? It appears not. He doubles down on his position. If he keeps it up Labour is in for defeats both at national and local level. New Zealanders are waking up to what Te Pati Maori extremists are up to and they don't like it. You need to understand this Mr Hipkins.

Spot on Mr Laws, you are reading the room, here is an example: Ferries: Great savings there Winston and Nationals Nicola! ACT continue to be disruptive but great to see the media and Labour happy to chip in...apparently spending large and faster is better🤣😂Yeah yeah it worked well for you but we the taxpayers and Nicola the kiwi mum can see thru the fast roads with slow potholes! Keep Chippy on, no really keep Chippy he represents TPM 🤣😂 IF not? BRING BACK CINDY 😂😂😂
