You go to a similar sized fair in Europe and you would be amazed. The amount of theming those guys carry with them to add to the rides is outrageous.

@mountaindewrocks104 It all fits on one trailer. Hydraulic rams lift the folded structure up to erect position. The only work that needs to actually be done is a worker needs to climb to the very top to secure ropes and a pin to connect the two half of the ride together. Check out amusement ride extravaganza they have good pics.

i have seen how they unfoled the Kamikaze when the fair came to town. it was slow when the workers activated the lifts to riase the center tower. Do u think u can upload some vids that show the carnival rides being folded?

Does anyone have a video of the Zipper being set up? I am curious to how the cages fold into the structure of the boom.

It's much less complicated than you think. With the ride stopped in a certain position, the tubs just "swing" into the boom after the separator bars (or "K" bars) are removed. Each tub is then locked with a special clip device. BTW this is all done on the trailer, not in the air.
