Just gotta take it one game at a time atp, find a way to beat Indiana and get ready for the Michigan Dline to potentially have its way again for the 4th straight year and game plan around that, which I think we will. If we get a shot at the B10 chip game against Oregon it’s going to be a rough one if Ryan day and chip kelly come in with the mentality that we have to out physical them. We have JJ emeka tate innis Trey n QJ. We gotta find ways to get them the ball in open space or 1on1 situations going forward

Really disappointing and odd that Birm is trying to shut down discussion about the turf. Fans have the right to be angry about it. It’s not some conspiracy. Slit film turf has been proven to increase these types of injuries and our AD continues to tell everyone it’s perfectly safe. Meanwhile every single NFL team that used slit film turf has already replaced their fields due to the safety concerns. People need to talk about this more, not less.

remember 2014! 3rd string qb. We are Ohio State. Next man up. Praying for Seth. Love his leadership and skill. I don't know if they got Seth because Hinzman didn't grade as a Champion last year? I think this late in the season they have enough on Hintzman, Padillia and Montgomery to determine who's the highest grade. I heard they might keep Hinzman at guard because him & tackle Jackson has good chemistry. We will see. but i think it can be a silver lining, that Indiana doesn't have any film on what will be on the field Saturday.

This is awful. Feel so bad for Seth. Also absolutely devastating to this team’s playoff hopes. Hope Hinzman isn’t too rusty at center and Seriveld can be a serviceable LG…

Remember we had to switch are line up at pennn state and Oregon and did alright. We’re going to do just fine at home. We can also chip with tight end and we have a mobile QB.

Well there is only 1 option now and that's to go win the whole damn thing! The injuries can galvanize a team, see 2014 Cardale Jones. Our defense will travel and I still like our chances, GO Bucks!

We’ve won with a 3rd string QB. We ca still do this. The stuff Seth brought can’t leave. The juice and confidence that guy has brought can’t be wasted. I hope this is an opportunity for Carson and Austin to come in and own those positions and roll coming down the stretch.
@ohiost746 сағат бұрын
The difference between that year and this year is the Oline. 12 Gaugr had mutiple future NFL starters blocking for him and zeke. This year, the team couldn't afford any injuries to the weakest position group on the team. You bought in Seth from Alabama because we had no center last year. There is no quality depth behind the starters. We can get by Indiana and Michigan, but what happens when we go against Oregon again or SEC teams. Alabama and Georgia are stacked with 5 star elite tank on their DLs.
@JoeWill-t5i5 сағат бұрын
@ well Carson was last years center. And center isn’t the most crucial part of the O-line. Of the positions on the O-line it’s the easiest to fill. There is experience enough in that OL room we can get production from a center. That doesn’t mean Seth will be easily replaced. I’m saying QB replacing is far more difficult in the 3 deep. We have a couple other players that have seen time still available. Zen for all his faults was not terrible in that Oregon game. He held his own when he came in. He will be back at some point his injury isn’t season ending. You can get a good line out of this group still.
@michaelthompson729Сағат бұрын
That's typical create the most horrendous scenario possible.....
@megamc38033 сағат бұрын
Our coaching and depth on the O-line is at an all time low and this was the last thing we could afford at one of the weakest spots going into this year. This is what having all time low O-line recruiting and development will get you in modern CFB. I just hope we make it to the B1G title game but I don't give a shit what happens after that. Natty hopes or expectations are officially out the window with this. This team always gets the most cursed injuries and horrific refs at times it can't afford them. People will say next man up but this team is not the 2014 team specifically on its O-line coaching and depth. Sometimes you just don't have enough talented natty caliber ready guys at one of your most thin and vitally important positions. Its the most important position to win a natty in current CFB and we do not have the depth or O-line coaching to win a natty with this many key pieces out. Seth was the last thing keeping this O-line at natty level and people don't realize how much this kills any natty hopes this year. Sucks to see such a talented team get completely screwed from a natty due to cursed injury luck from the biggest and vitally important weak spot. Almost like a curse wanted to kill this team of destiny in the one place it could be killed. It will just go down as one of many other natty caliber teams that got screwed by cursed injury luck at the worst times and we have had plenty of those teams before. It tends to happen more often than not with us.

Injured doing what?! Have the practices become THAT hard, or are these guys THAT fragile? Both? I’ve been watching the Buckeyes, and college football for over 40yrs, as a 2nd gen alumni….and I’ve NEVER seen an era where this many players have been injured, this many years in a row. There are more rules to keep these guys healthy than ever, and yet these guys are ALWAYS having catastrophic injuries. I’ve never seen anything like this. *I feel bad for Seth, or anyone else who has a season-ending injury. Obviously, no one steps onto the field looking to have a season ending injury. But, something isn’t adding up with all these injuries, year after year. ALL teams are banged up across the league….but, NO ONE is having the issues this Ryan Day era Ohio State team has had the past 4yrs, with all these injuries.*
