SLIME POOL CLEAN UP!

Finally the slime pool has been cleaned up! The liner was leaking so needed to be changed but before we done that we wanted to have a little fun with it! Dyed it red and then filled it with slime!
This time around before the liner went in we added felt underlay which makes it so much more comfortable and the pattern choice from the customer is butterfly grey which looks soo good!

I’ve got that colour of pool liner. Lasts much longer than traditional pool liners, doesn’t fade as fast and looks blue by the time the pool is filled. Looks absolutely magnificent!

Yer, the holding tank gets filled up so when the liner is in place all that water can then go in the pool which will hold the liner in place and the vacuum on the side can be turned of! Otherwise we’d need to leave the vacuum on and wait for the garden hose to fill it to a certain level

The results look great! Although, seems like you would of achieved better adhesion of the felt backing if you had used a 1/8" notched trowel and a bucket glue or mastic. Also, you should of cut the joints AFTER you laid the felt, like wallpaper, that way the seams would be tight. ( also on a side note cordless shears are a huge hand saver. )

To transfer the filling water into the pool even faster, you could simply use a large diameter tube and start a siphon.

That petrol pump should’ve been turned so the pool pipe was straight, it’s bore was reduced at the pump. But that thing even then was powerful!

I have building/ renovating pools for 35 years I use a temp pool on my liner change outs what was that about 5000 gallons I like how you put foam in the collar were they pool noodles pretty slick set up

I wonder why you use pumps? If you had used a big hose connected to the bottom of the "water tank" you could just let gravity do it, and faster too presumably. Just put a valve in with it.
