HI, Vins. I think it is important to know that travel tax exemption for OFW and dependents applies only if the final booking destination is the country of OFW worksite. For example: if the OFW is working in KSA but he and his family plans to travel to Japan for tourism, then travel tax exemption does not apply.

I would like to ask if I can still do the refund in the airport counter even though I paid it online. There is no clear instructions on their website as it stated there - SAME-DAY REFUND (SDR) OF TRAVEL TAX PAID DIRECTLY TO TIEZA AT TRAVEL TAX COUNTERS AT VARIOUS AIRPORT TERMINALS WITHIN 24 HOURS FROM TIME OF PAYMENT. So I was thinking that only those who paid at the counter can refund at the counter.

Hi! AFAIK, only those who paid it at the counter can request for same day refund. For others, it could take a days, depending on payment method.

Hi po sir Vins, Iask ko lang ganito kasi ang scenario ko. Nakapagbook na kami initially ng flight and kasama na sa booking ng flight yung travel tax. Kaso since gusto namin mas mapaaga ng punta sa destination namin nilet go nalang namin yung unang flight and book other flight to another airline. Yung latest namin na booking ay wala nang travel tax. Here are my question: 1.) Pwede ba namin na gamitin yung travel tax na nabayaran na doon sa naunang booking flight? Since hindi naman namin magagamit na. Possible ba yun ganun? Lalo na yung nauna kong nabook na flight ay ibang Airlines sa pangalawa kong nabook? Do you have any tips and guidance regarding dito? Hope matulungan kami since mahal talaga ang travel tax. Sayang din po if mag babayad kami uli. Thank you po.❤

hello pede rin po ba marefund yung binayad ko , xerox copy lang po kasi ng permanent resident card ko sa japan 🇯🇵 ang naibigay ko hindi ko po nadala yung PR ko naiwanan sa bahay 😩hindi po ako nakakuha ng exemption , nagbayad po ako ng 1620 with receipt sabi po sa counter i can refund basta itabi ang resibo? anytip po para makarefund po ako🙏 sa case ko po any tip or advice pls

Ay exempted po pala tayo sa travel tax bakit ako pinapabayad pa din ng Cebu pacific staff kahit nakita nila residence card ko 5 years nku babayad 3x a year ako umuuwe😢

kapag po permanent resident sa japan ang visa exempted po tayo sa travel tax.. kailangan lang po natin pakita permanent resident card natin sa travel tax counter sa airport.. then bibigyan po tayo nila ng receipt na nakalagay na exempted po tayo.. Yun po ang kahalagahan ng permanent resident card natin wag nyo po kalimutan dalhin para hindi kayo matulad sakin na hindi ko po napakita ang pr card ko naiwan sa bahay kaya po ay charge nila ko 1620 ewan ko lang po paano ma refund dahil sabi po nila refundable naman po 😔Paano po kaya ma refund?

Iba pa po. Yang Passenger Service Charge po yung tinatawag nating Terminal Fee. Pero iba pa po sya sa PH Travel Tax.
