It’s common to wonder, how can God be good when so many bad things happen in the world? Questions like this can chip away at us over time and lead to doubt, so it’s important to answer this for ourselves. In this message, we learn that Christianity explains how bad things happen and actually points to the fact that God is still good. __

This was such a good explanation. Ive never heard this question answered and explained in this way. This makes so much sense. God is way more merciful than I could ever even wrap my head around. Thank you God, for loving me way more than you hate my sin.

I wept watching this tonight. Thank you, Porch. My good friend, an amazing sister in Christ who was so loving and full of light tragically died in a car accident a month ago. I am a Christian and have grown up in the Church from an early age but have been having doubts as to why God would let this happen. She had just got accepted into nursing school. She had an amazing godly boyfriend who loved her and they were planning on getting married. She had a family who has gone through so much hardship already. Why God? Why would you let people who have gone through so much go through the loss of such a beautiful soul? She wasn't done impacting this world. And why would you let this happen in a time when her friends are not able to come together and grieve with one another and feel like we have to put that grief on hold because of everything else going on in the word? This message really spoke to me. Like you said, I will never be okay with bad things happening but I know that my God grieves with me as well. I may not completely understand His plans but I have already seen how many people my friend has impacted through her life and death. She was an organ donor and was able to save over 8 lives. At her funeral (which was very small with just immediate family and all of her many friends were not allowed to attend because of COVID-19 and had to Livestream it) the pastor shared the gospel and I KNOW there were people there or who watched who heard and hopefully it planted a seed in them. She impacted SO many people by the way she was so joyful and so open about her relationship with Jesus. I know that she, and my Jesus, would want me to live a joyful life so full of Him that people would know that I am different. I had prayed last night and asked God to give me a sign that everything was going to be ok and your message was that sign for me. Thank you for speaking into the lives of young adults. Never stop.

I have given my full faith in Jesus, but in a world where the devil whispers in our ears, temptation, brokenness, sin and pain try to pull you away from the Goodness of God, we are all stuck in a tug of war battle every single day. This was one of the best sermons I have ever listened to, and a great reminder of what reality is and who our amazing God truly is, and the faith and trust we need to have in Him. That he came to save us from a broken world. Thank you for this wonderful message, I will be sharing this with everyone I know!

@@usersdksdfg "how am I supposed to follow the lord when this happened" that's how following the lord is, there we will be trial like this. Don't depart from him because of this reason. He never departed from you when he sent his son to die for our sins which far greater heartbreak than anyone losing a loved one in this world. Yes, I lost loved ones too but it doesn’t mean you have to stop following him anymore or blame him for what happened. Which David explains it in the video.
