In this video I show you all the steps you need to cast PU (polyurethane) rubber in almost any shape you want. For my tank track skateboard I needed rubber blocks for the tracks. I couldn’t find something that would fit so I decided to make my own..

All these people are right. Adding a note in the title saying the actual language this is in is the expectation. Usually any non English video has a title in its own language or if not at least mention the language in brackets. If too lazy to to do so, I would explain people to complain about it, for good reasons.

Even with most viewers having common sense and agreeing with that statement, they still came back to lecture you on irrelevant topics and go out of their way just to insult you by claiming 'you cannot read your own language' They just don't get it. This is what they call 'being direct' Expats know the real translation of that word very different in other languages :D

It's a bit late, but you should really vent or use gas masks with the right filter. Isocyanates are nasty for your lungs ;) and this resin (as most flexible PU's) catalyse with amines, which are also nasty for your lungs

excellent video, great idea to cnc the mould, other option is to make a mould out of silicone, no release needed, only one comment when using PU you must use a resperator with the equivelant filter to an 3M ABEK1, PU vapour is really bad for you, you can become highly allergic to it, two of my friends became like this, one was hospitalised the other the blood vesels in his eyes burst every time he is near PU

How good does it bind to itself? Could I pour multiple layers in the form to make a hollow object? I want to make a safe breecher tool for airsoft but think when I pour the head as one solid piece it would get quit heavy. So my idea was to pour bit by bit in the mold until I have a thick enough shell and fill it then with self expanding foam.

How do I prevent the polyurethane from seepign into the bearing races and destroying the bearing? is there a special type of tape or glue for that? Some company quoted me over $2000 to put a 5mm coating on some 40mm outer diameter bearings, but I want to save money and do it myself.

"stop whingeing and get on with it!" [excerpt] "We English users vent, we lament, we fuss and grouse and kvetch. We also-especially those of us across the pond-have a tendency to whinge. Contrary to appearances, whinge is etymologically distinct from whine. The latter traces to an Old English verb, hwīnan, meaning "to hum or whir like a speeding object (such as an arrow) through the air." When hwīnan became whine in Middle English, it meant "to wail distressfully"; whine didn't acquire its "complain" sense until the 16th century. Whinge, on the other hand, comes from a different Old English verb, hwinsian, meaning "to wail or moan discontentedly." Whinge retains that original sense today, though nowadays it puts less emphasis on the sound of the complaining and more on the discontentment behind all the whinging and moaning".

@@mofoq just checked the subs in a few random spots in the video and yes, they do seem accurate in my opinion, definitely not auto generated, they have some "Dutch feel" to them, as in, you can tell it's translated, but not by a machine. Also, yes, we do borrow a lot of English words, this is something I find interesting especially if you compare it to something like German. They translate and/or Dub (not sub!) everything. In the Netherlands, shows (except kids shows) will be shown in their original language with Dutch subs.
@Thepracticalengineer

Rowan is right about both things. The reason I switched is because I can better express myself in my mother tongue (Dutch) and thus enjoy the build process more. It was a though decision since I know the amount of international viewers who watch my content. I'm looking to make a second channel in english but I need to figure out the best way to do so. In the meantime all the videos on my channel have subtitles that are made by an actual person. Not auto generated at all.
